At the farthest western end of Las Vegas Boulevard lies a resort that epitomizes everything Sin City stands for. High end décor, first class entertainment, and succulent dining all mingle together to make the perfect vacationing experience at Mandalay Bay. While the accommodations at Mandalay Bay are top notch, there is a separate section of the resort that could stand as its own property known as THEhotel. Whether the emphasis on THE is a clear indication that there is no other hotel that could match what this venue has to offer or not has yet to be decided, but it is a fact one should find out for themselves.
A stay at THEhotel not only comes with top of the line accommodations that you would expect to cost in the high hundreds, but also convenient access to all of the amenities offered by the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Such a convenience is just the tip of the ice burg of what makes THEhotel a five star property.
Rooms at THEhotel come in a variation of three different types: THEsuite, V Suite, and THE H Suite. The most basic of rooms (a term used very loosely) is THEsuite. Coming in at approximately 725 sq-ft of luxury space, THEsuite is outfitted with a separate living arrangement to help accommodate the 5 person capacity. An included wet bar ensures that the fun doesn’t have to stop just because you’re back in your hotel room. Marble finishing and granite floors decorate an upgraded bathroom. You will find overt comfort in the plush seating while you watch an assortment of movies on your 42” plasma television.
Next up at THEhotel is the V Suite. Increasing the space to 741 sq-ft, the V Suite takes on a more contemporary feel through a lighter color scheme. You can expect the same amenities as you would find in THEsuite just with that added fashionable look. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide exquisite views of Mandalay Bay Beach, the Strip, or the outlying mountain ranges.
Increased in size by nearly double its sister suites, THE H Suite comes in at 1,674 sq-ft – a size that rivals most two bedroom apartments. A separate master bedroom creates the perfect sanctuary to retire to after a long day on the Strip. Included in this room is an additional parlor, which helps to increase the seating capacity to up to twenty individuals. For the businessman on the go, THE H Suite also includes two phones lines with fax data support. A powder room tacks on an additional half bathroom, which only helps the master bathroom to stand out all the more. Marble accents make up the floor and surfaces of the bathroom. A glass enclosed shower stands tall next to an extra large luxury bathtub.
THEhotel may not have all the bells and whistles you would expect to find at a resort in Las Vegas, but its close proximity to the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino more then makes up for its lack of on-site businesses. That, and there’s a good chance you’ll refuse to leave the comfort of your room.
